Via 3P TFEVO Weibo account we have a look at the color prototype of TE-01 Hot Fire (Masterpiece Scaled TLK Hot Rod).

This a very impressive and movie-accurate TLK Hot Rod which, according to what we can see from the images, has got an excellent level of detail, and even the back of the figure looks very solid and with only a bit of kibble. It is made to be on scale with the new Masterpiece Movie figures like Bumblebee.

Takara Tomy has announced their presence at Japan Wonder Festival 2018 which will take place parallel to New York Toy Fair this year.

On Sunday 18th February, the company is inviting Transformers fans to visit their booth at Wonderfest (Makuhari Messe area in Chiba).

Takara Tomy is planning to debut Power of the Primes figures as well as possible Studio Series toys with dioramas displaying Movie the Best, Lost Age, and The Last Knight figures which will act as a 10th anniversary celebration.

The announcement also features Takara Tomy Mall Evasion Mode Nemesis Prime which will be available as a Wonderfest 2018 Exclusive.

About a week ago, we announced that Hasbro is looking towards expanding the Transformers Evergreen line into the Generations mainline with Authentics figures featuring greater articulation and detailing beyond a budget market line.

It just so happens that reputed Weibo user TF-Factory seems to be providing evidence to exactly that. Though the content of the packaging are edited out, this new reveal seems to feature Evergreen Autobot Bumblebee for what looks as though Deluxe and Voyager iterations.

It’s difficult to tell exactly what these are for, but the packaging is vastly different from Authentics Bravo Assortment and the blister carded 7 inch Project Storm Assortment.

We are now looking forward to see this latest development at the upcoming New York Toy Fair 2018.

Updating their official Facebook page, Imaginarium Art is hinting towards possible Quintesson Statues for their Transformers: Legacy Of Cybertron line.

The post features Quintesson face of Judgement with a caption of the same. The company followed the announcement with a comment stating “Keep Following, we will announce it very soon“.

IA also stated that the Legacy Of Cybertron statues will cost around $200 – $300 each, depending on the size.

Additionally, artist Emiliano Santalucia is sharing the artwork with a caption “And also this 😉” indicating his involvement with the design.

Thanks to 2005 Boards member dalianjj for sharing images of the FansToys FT-39 Jabber Prototype in our forums.

This is Fans Toys take on a Masterpiece scaled G1 Blurr. The images show a very cartoon-accurate mold that looks great together with other G1 third season Masterpiece figures like Rodimus Prime or Fans Toys previous releases like Fans Toys FT-22 – Koot (Kup) and Fans Toys FT-24 Rouge (Arcee). The figure will include a rifle and Blurr’s Targetmaster partner Haywire.

Via DX9 Weibo account we get some great images of the color prototype of DX9 x Uniquetoys K3 La Hire.

This is a DX9 Toys project that also get the collaboration of Unique Toys to bring us a highly detailed Masterpiece scaled TLK Hot Rod. This figure proves to be very nice molded and with a very accurate alt mode. We have a look at the extra accessories that it will include: 1 energy gun and 1 submachine gun. Additionally, they are offering 2 extra flame accessories for the guns and one Viviane Wembly mini-figure that can hold Merlin’s staff and can sit on the driver seat in the alt mode.

DX9 Facebook also gives us a description of other features and material of this new Hot Rod:

K3 LA HIRE is a royal guard knight.
Its size is matched with the MPM series. The door can be opened in the vehicle mode and put the action figure in.
The car spoilers can be adjusted up and down.It

also contain many alloy parts.
Its vehicle mode is perfectly matched with the real car whose back wheels are larger than the front ones.
The waist is made of rubber tube.

We’ve got one of those weird miscellaneous bits of Transformers merchandise to share with you here.

Japanese cake company Priroll, who specialize in custom cakes, macaroons and the like, have announced a line of Transformers themed valentines cakes and macaroons. These cakes use the standard stock licensing artwork from Transformers The Last Knight, and feature Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Sqweeks, and some generic logos. While Transformers birthday cakes or valentines cards are nothing new, we cannot recall seeing the two combined quite like this. Be sure to check out some images of these cakes attached to this post.

Transformers Valentine’s day cakes. Because nothing says “I love you” quite like taking a bite out of a cake with Megatron’s face on it.

Via 鋼鐵星PSX on Weibo we have some new images of Ocular Max Hellion (G1 Cliffjumper) Color Prototype.

This is Ocular Max take on a Masterpiece Scaled G1 Cliffjumper. The images reveal a well proportioned robot mode with a cartoon accurate head. The car shows an interesting balance between a real car and the “cartoon style” and brings us doors and complete seats and details of the interior of the car. To top it all, rubber tires are the small laser gun (seen in the cartoon) are part of the alt mode too.

Via site adventuresinpoortaste.com we have a look at IDW Lost Light #14 Full Preview.

This is a 5-page preview where we finish the flashback seen on the first preview with Shockwave, Scorponok and some other Decepticons who had just left Garrus-9. Problems will come when they cross paths with the DJD. We also get the second story for this issue with Nickel who has been sent to Troja Major together with the infamous Scavengers and you can be sure this is the start or another fine mess.

New Rescue Bots Figure and Playset Combo Packs

Amazon.com has listed a bunch of new Transformers Rescue Bots releases, including two possible new waves of figures with playsets, although the specifics are currently unclear on exactly what is involved.

The sets that are listed are:

Rock Crawler Bumblebee Ps Figures and Playsets
Chase the Police Bot Ps Figures and Playsets (Chase here is noted to be a motorcycle)
Heatwave Classic Ps Figures and Playsets (Heatwave here is a race car)
Salvage Cement Truck Ps Figures and Playsets
Blades Ps Figures and Playsets (this version of Blades is a VTOL jet)
Bumblebee Rescan Rd Ps Figures and Playsets (yes, a second Bumblebee, this time a sports car. He’s listed for August and has a higher product number suggesting he is a different wave)

Each set is priced at $9.99, which places them $5 less than previous flip racer figure and playset packs, but also at the same price as current, playset-less Rescan series Rescue Bots. We suspect that these are in fact new releases in the Flip Racers subline, possibly with less elaborate playsets than the ones that were released last year.

Also newly listed on Amazon – and already out in US stores – is a Flip Racer Speedster Boulder, which takes the construction themed Rescue Bot and turns him into a nice, bulky muscle car. We’ve got official images for this one via Walmart – check them out, attached to this post.

We’ve got good news for UK Transformers fans! Ticket sales have now opened for TFNation 2018!

TFNation 2018 will be taking place over the weekend of 17-19 August 2018, at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole in Birmingham in England. Ticket prices are £60 for the full weekend including Friday panels, with £35 and £30 offered for Saturday and Sunday day passes, respectively. There’s also the Stan Bush concert, which is an additional £15 for full weekend attendees (£20 for those only there on the Saturday). Convention rate hotel rooms are also available, but selling out fast.

TFNation 2018 promises a great weekend for attendees. As well as the aforementioned opportunity to experience Stan Bush live and in concert, there will be panels thoughout the weekend with the guests and also on a range of different areas of the fandom. Special guests announced so far include voice actor D.C. Douglas, comic writer James Roberts, writer and artist Nick Roche, artist Jack Lawrence, and the one and only Stan Bush!

We’re booked and ready to attend – will you be joining us in August in Birmingham? We look forward to seeing you there!

While Robots In Disguise cartoon and toyline are finished, some more RID merchandising is still surfacing around. Thanks to 2005 Boards member Underlord we can report a nice Robots In Disguise storage chest that has been found at UK retail.

This a quite big box featuring a big Autobot insignia and some more similar decoration over it. It was found at Home Bargains in Clacton for £4.99.

We had previously reported that the Transformers Authentics line will have some bigger and more articulated toys like: Grimlock, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. Thanks to several reports from our 2005 members, we can inform that these figures are already out at Philippines retail.

2005 Boards member vproject found the new big carded Authentics Grimlock at Toy Kingdom store in Manila for 599.75 Philippines Pesos which is 11.61 US dollars approximately.

2005 Boards member payres also shared more images from Snakas Blog which show Bumblebee and Optimus Prime, and comparison images next to the small Authentics figures. As an extra bonus we have some in-hand images of Grimlock. You need to assembly some parts of the figure, but it seems to be a simple but fun toy.

Thanks to Emiliano Santalucia official Facebook account we have our first Sneak Peek of Pop Culture Shock Small Scale (10″-12″) G1 Optimus Prime Statue.

We had previously reported that Pop Culture Shock acquired Hasbro License to manufacture statues based on Transformers Franchise. So far, it has been unknown which character will be offered or any look of the statues, but now we get a look at an Optimus Prime render in a great G1 cartoon style who is shooting his iconic weapon featuring a blast of energy.

Today we are taking a look at the recently released MP-15E/16E 4 pack of Cassette bots. The pack includes 2 Autobots and 2 Decepticons. Autobot Stripes uses the Ravage mold and Autobot Nightstalker uses the first release of the Steeljaw mold decked out in all black. (Come on baby Masterpiece Blaster please!). On the Decepticon side, Wing Thing uses the Ratbat mold, and “Enemy” uses the Rumble/Frenzy mold. For fans of the Tapebots and their minions, they are a welcome addition. Nightstalker is a super tease, hopefully leading to all the Autobot tapes and eventually MP Blaster. He is finicky though, legs tend to swoop outward easily and it’s hard to get him in a pose that captures that awesome lion’s mane front Steeljaw was known for originally.

The first series of Transformers Authentics 5 inch (or “Bravo Series”) figures have arrived at US retail. These are the smaller of the Authentics releases, including the likes of Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream and Bumblebee, each using the so-named Evergreen designs we’ve seen on non-movie Transformers licensed products of late.

These were spotted in a Dollar General in Wichita, Kansas by TFW2005 member sideswipe6520.
